Today is Bubble Wrap Appreciation Day — yes, that packaging material everyone loves to pop… Apparently the last mOnday in January has been dubbed Bubble Wrap Appreciation Day and there are quite a few things you can do to celerate.
Of course, there is the very visceral excitement of actually popping some bubble wrap. But there is also virtual fun to be had.

Today, Monday, Jan. 25, 2010, is the Bubble Wrap Appreciation Day. A day honoring the conception of the bubble wrap 50 years ago.
A local radio station ,”Spirit 95″ Radio, in Indiana, officially started Bubble Wrap Appreciation Day in 2001 with a number of events to celebrate the anniversary.
Sealed Air, the company which first made bubble wrap, adds on its Web site that the day is celebrated every year the last Monday of January.
